Mobik
The technical carriage system is designed to maintain man entry pipes which are longer than usual.
Possible Applications
Mobik is used to clean pipe bottoms, for CCTV inspections of sewers and for the manned service and reconstruction of man entry pipes.
Security
In man entry pipes should be an escape route every 50 to 100 meters so that the firefighters can safe the maintenance personnel in an emergency. Due to the new concept the maintenance personnel can be saved without firefighters. The functionality of the carriage system is coordinated with the responsible accident insurance of North Rhine-Westphalia and the fire department of Solingen so that there is a safe way to inspect and reconstruct huge sewers without escape routes every 50 to 100 meters.
Economic Efficiency
It is complex and very expensive to build deep and man entry pipes which have an emergency exit every 50 to 100 meters. Mobik can make this easier. An inspection of approximatley 800 meters takes about 30 minutes.
